This EPIC three day Faithpreneur Weekend 2019 Conference was facilitated by host and creator, Dr. Stacie N.C Grant

Dr. Stacie NC Grant is touching hearts and transforming minds all over the world. As founder of the Destiny Designers University®, and the Faithpreneur® Movement, her body of work spans the gamut: volunteerism and servitude, through youth mentorship and civic engagement; community outreach and support, working closely with local elected officials; inspiring lives on world stages, reminding them to take “Action, Action, Despite the Distraction!”™.
Dr. Grant's, track record is highlighted by receiving the 2016 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for Volunteer Service from our 44th President Barack Obama, along with her 2017 appointment as a Fellow of the Most Excellent Order of International Experts (FOIE). Dr. Grant derives hers greatest reward serving people, rekindling dreams, uncovering the foundations for legacy work, and witnessing the shift that takes place in the process of bringing about their greatest successes. It was a live gathering ecosystem of collaborative achievement driven businesses, guided by the moral compass of FAITH. Entrepreneurs are typically individuals who exhibit grit, determination and resilience to establish and monetize their business idea. The goal of #FaithpreneurWeekend2K19 was to create sustainable Revenue, Resources and Relationships. This is the challenge for most entrepreneurs and for most entrepreneurs and #Faithpreneurs® alike. Most have the passion and vision to create innovative products and services but lack the Revenue, Resources and Relationships for long-term sustainability.

Super excited as Live Your Best Life Blog was able to chat with Bri Lee regarding her new book release and what is next for her in this season.

Bri Lee, please tell us about your book?
Absolutely! My new book, My Father's Business, A Journey to Entrepreneurship by Faith, is bridging the gap between business and personal development. I strongly believe that one of the greatest challenges any entrepreneur will face is themselves, which is why I am sharing my journey and what I have had to combat and overcome on a personal level that has directly affected my growth as an entrepreneur and the lateral movement of my business.
In My Father's Business, the reader will also discover the scriptural and spiritual parallels that directly apply to business. I myself, have only come this far by my faith in God and through faith I am truly able to accomplish my purpose, visions and goals.
How did you come up with idea for this book?
This book was really a God idea. As I was going through the growing pains and ups and downs of entrepreneurship, God placed it on my heart to share these lessons with my fellow business owners. I've learned that what I do is less about me and more about God, and He is really captain of the ship of CEO of my business if you well. Hence came the title, My Father's Business.
What was the most difficult aspect of writing this book?
The most difficult aspect of writing this book, I can say really was in the reflecting. It really is easy to just "go through the motions," so much so, that we often miss what we are supposed to obtain in life's moments; But writing My Father's Business, really forced me to stop, embrace current moments and situations or really dig deep into my memory bank and receive the message there
Why do you write? What is the most rewarding thing about being a writer?
I have been writing as long as I can remember. It truly is apart of me and who I am. I love the art of writing from my core. You know, many of us are blessed with gifts that come naturally and I am proud to say that literature is my art form. I can't sing, although I try on several occasions but writing is where I flow best and can carry "a note," if you will.
What is most rewarding about being a writer is knowing that you can truly touch the hearts and minds of people through your written word. I do not take that for granted. It is an honor to be able to reach people and hopefully change their lives in the most positive ways through words.
What valuable lessons do you want readers to learn from your book?
There are layered lessons within My Father's Business. My wish really is for the reader to avoid certain pitfalls and struggles through what I have already gone through, but ultimately, my wish for the reader is to expand their trust in God and apply these key scriptures and lessons to their everyday lives and to be blessed as they operate in them.
Who are your favorite authors? & What book(s) are you reading now?
That's funny. My favorite author always seems to change, as I grow older and go through different phases in my life. At the moment, I do not have a favorite author, but I do have a list of books I have lined up to read, written by Michelle Obama, Trevor Noah, Elaine Welteroth and I'm waiting on Yvonne Orji to drop hers. These are all people I follow and admire their work, stories and ambition.
What books have most influenced your life?
A cliche answer but the B-I-B-L-E. The most influential literature I have read to-date! I could have read one verse a thousand times and received something different every single time.
Any advice to give to aspiring writers?
